- The Practical Nurse Programme is a robust Programme which is designed for persons who are desirous of developing the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to care for the ill, injured or infirm, promote wellness, maintain health and prevent illness under the direction of registered nurse, licensed physician or dentist.

Have a School leaving certificate.

Over 17 years old

Secondary School or High School Diploma/Grade Nine Achievement Test OR 3 passes in CXC/GCE including English Language, Mathematics and a Science Subject OR 5 passes in JSC/SSC Ranges 5 and 4. (OR G.E.D equivalent)
Students with passes must present original copies of certificates.
Those without passes are asked to sit a pre-entrance test.
Mature Requirements:
Adult learners without the prerequisite subjects will be allowed to pursue a make-up course in English, Mathematics and General knowledge at the institution’s discretion.
